Arrow setup recommendations

I would like to keep my total weight under 400g. I would like to be in the 380g ballpark. My guardian is at 70# with a 29" dl. I will be shooting 100g slick tricks. What arrow setup would you recommend? I currently have beman ics hunter 340 with 2" blazers.I believe they are around 418g total weight.

Suggestions?

Don,

Am I underspined at 380g? On all the charts I put my specs in, I can't get lower than 9gpi. If I was to shoot a Easton Epic 400, 8.7gpi@28" with a 100g bh and 2" blazers, it should be around 390g. How is that?

I just brought home a scale and converted grams-grains and got 416g with mycurrent setup.Would there be a big difference if I went to 390g?

Thanks

The weight difference will make very little difference. The dynamic spine is more important.

What length of arrow do you shoot? Or, plan on shooting?

Correction, the Maxima 3D Select 350's at approx 366 gr w/ a 100 gr tip at 28". My CX 3D Select 300'swith a 125 gr tip weighs 391 @ 8.1 gpi.
You'd be at 5.2 grains per pound though with that set-up.

I am shooting 70 #'s w/ Maxima 3D Select 350's....they tear perfect and fly perfect. The "charts" show I am a TAD underspined, but I sure don't notice it. I am pretty sure they weigh in at 8.9 gpi...

I have mine cut 28 1/2" (sorry, I posted 28 first), 100 grain tips, blazers and a 4" wrap, they weigh EXACTLY 380 grains.

I'm giving the weight without a wrap and 28" arrow.

Subtract the wrap and the length of the arrow. Wrap can be from 6 to 10 grains and 4.5 grains for shaft length. Subtract 10.5 to 14.5 grains and you get 365.5 to 369.5 grains.

OT2 has 366.6 grains.
