Problem

I just got my arrows wrapped and fletched by a friend. I used Onestringer wraps, and the new NAP Quickspin ST Speedhunters. The first time i went out and shot, 5 of the fletchings fell of. They all fell off right when my arrows hit the target (Bag). What should i do now??

Make sure the guy fletching your arrows knows what he is doing. Most of the fletches now adays say you dont need to wipe them off before glueing, but I wipe everything down with alchohal, wraps, fletches, shaft. Another trick is make sure he is using enough glue, and it doesnt hurt to put a little extra one and just dab the fletch on a paper towel to remove excess before attaching.

Excellent, also it doesn't hurt to scuff the vane where you put the glue. I use some 200 grit sand paper. If you do like the above you won't have a problem. I am sure you don't have a fletching jig or you would be doing them yourself. Go over the above with your friend.

Agreed. I've never had a problem w/ onestringer's wraps holding vanes w/ the right glue.(AAE Fastset Gel)
