I always recommend serving the string where the String Suppressor contacts the string. I think it's just cheap insurance;)

Ya,I agree it's an older string anyways so I need that cheap insurance. Thanks for the reply's guys.

i wax the string real good were it hits it working so far but i keep a eye on it to make sure.

I went ahead and put the serving on only took me like 10 min.
