G5 ME sight Horizontal movement
My friend just gotone of these new G5 ME sights. It is way cool, but we can't get the horizontal adjustment to the right enough. It pegs out just to the left of the center line for the bow. He's shooting a right hand McPherson Hornet (I think). Anyway, I was wondering if anybody else had the same problem. I have checked his centershot and it is correct. We are just going to add some homemade spacers/washers to make it come out right.

RE: G5 ME sight Horizontal movement
He just left. I'll check to see if I can take some pictures tomorrow. It is a McPherson Hornet, not that that should matter.
If you have that sight you know that there is only an inch and a half or so for the horzontal adjustment. It just isn't enough to get the pins in the same plane as the the arrow and string. It's about a quarter inch shy. I think we can fabricate a plate that will go between the riser and the mounting bracket that can make up the difference.
