What rest and site does everyone use?

Just getting ready to buy a new bow and interested in what rest and site everyone uses?

I am currently leaning towards a Patroit Dually with a Whisker Biscuit and Trophy Ridge Alpha.

If you have experience with any of these please advise.

If it's a containment rest you're looking for then you really need to take a serious look at the GKF Shoot Out. I have shot both the WB and the SO, and the SO is the better rest. The WB is nice AFTER you have made all the modifications while the Shoot Out truly IS the better design because modifications are NOT needed. Check out the new improved design.

If its a metal pin TR sight that you want then take a look at the new Micro Matrix, a much better design than the Alpha. The Alpha also feature crude adjustments that don't even come close to the adjustment ease of the Micro Matrix. Truly a refined generation of TR sights.

Don't over look the Bodoodle rests, they are tough and forgiving. Does anyone know how to post a picture on this site? I'd like to show the rest I made at home.

Impact Archery Cosmic ring screwed into an old Archers choice sight bracket, and a bodoodle pro lite. Great set up, in my opinion. Ive found that TM style rests are louder. The tend to have a clacking kind of sound. The bodoodle makes some noise, mostly prongs but thats fixable.

Mathews Legacy with Whisker Biscuit rest and Cobra Brite Eye sight. The WB will be getting replaced when the Muzzy Zero Effect rests for the roller guard bows comes out in January, and the sight is a Wal-Mart clearance special to hold me over a couple months until the new stuff comes out and I can pick a good one.

Mathews 'FX' with an Archers Choice Grizley fiber optic sight, an NAP Quicktune 4000 fall away rest and a True Fire X-Caliper release [Relax to Fire Mode]. Easton 2213 and Thunderhead 100's.

It's a tack driving system out to 40 yards and no slouch beyond.

Same Tiger Tuff rest since 1995. It's a simple, sturdy design. The sight I use now is a Spott Hogg Sure-Thing.

The pull cord is served into the back side of the bow string. When you draw the bow the back side of the bow string rises allowing the pull cord to relax and allow the return spring to lift the launcher arm and arrow to shooting position.

RE: What rest and site does everyone use?

Pup, yes 100% clearance. The only way there will be any fletching contact is if the arrow gets ahead of the string 1/2 way through the power stroke. I have another model on the burner that will really be different with no hook ups to the string or cable or slide.
