BowTech '03
Has any of the new BowTech bows been shipped yet?
|
RE: BowTech '03
The shop that I shoot for was promised that the new Bowtech's would start arriving 2 weeks ago, but the latest phone call to the factory has them shipping at the end of next week at the earliest.

Weatherby,
You order that bow from Jeff. He told me that 1 other person had ordered a DC Pat when I ordered mine. Talked to him last week and was told last week of Jan or first week of Feb. |

Certainly some interesting new bows I will have to play with this coming year.
I heard through the grapevine that the 'Winners Choice' string may not be adorning the new bows. Anyone else heard anything like that? |
RE: BowTech '03
Yep in the 2003 W/C string's will no longer be on BT's.

Just ordered myself a 2003 Patriot dual cam 70 pound 30". I am pumped up. I have a 2002 patriot, I loved it but thought it was a tad heavy and weirdly balanced, with a bad grip(which I took off and shot bare riser). For 2003 they have fixed all the problems and also added 20+ fps and a higher brace height. I am just wondering what the valley and the back wall will be like on the dually? I can not wait to receive my bow and start tinkering!

Ro-, I have the '02 Pat and love it. I also ordered the '03 Pat DC in 30 inch 70 pound and can't wait to play with it<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> Good luck with your new rocket launcher!

Some bows will have strings made by Winner's Choice and some will have strings made by a different manufacturer. They are all being marketed as O2 strings regardless of who makes them though... I think I can maybe put an end to some of the bad press and nasty untrue rumors about this issue. I may get myself in some hot water for doing so but here it goes anyway... BowTech signed a contract with Winner's Choice a couple weeks ago. I'm sure if you call or email Winner's Choice they will attest to it. Extreme VFT's have been shipping for a few days now and "some" Dual Cam Patriots "may" start shipping as early as next week... |
