On-Target Users...help needed
Hi All,
I downloaded On-Target and I've been tinkering around with it. However, I'm getting very confused. Here's my bow set-up: 2005 Bear Omni Pro 68# draw 29 inch DL I have a peep, Sims leeches, and a loop on my string...not sure how much this weighs I shoot a mechanical release Using NAP Quicktune2000 Arrows are CX Terminator Hunter 6075. 28 inches long with 2 inch blazers, wraps, and 100gr. field points. Complete arrow weighs 446 grains. Speed is about 245. I'm trying to use On-Target to find a lighter arrow. I'm looking for more speed and a flatter trajectory. I'd like to be able to use 1 pin for out to 20 yards, which is currently not possible. Anyhow, I entered all the data and was pleased to see that my current arrow choice is perfect! However, I can't seem to find a lighter arrow that falls within the same specs. Also, I'm noticing that the "optimal spine" for my set up keeps changing. What am I doing wrong? Could some of you more knowledgable folks crunch some numbers for me and point me in the direction of a lighter arrow? I'm looking for around 380-390 grains for the finished arrow. 28 inches long. Any help would be greatly appritiated! Kind Regards, Axel |

Do you mean 1 pin for out to 30yds?
You are more than fast enough to have 1 pin for 20yds. My old PSE shot 230fps and I had no problem with 1 pin to 20-22yds. |

You may want to tweak your set-up to find more arrows.
All speeds and weights are approximate. But close CX Terminator Lite Hunter6075 424 gr 265 fps CX Maxima 350 366 gr 278 fps If you can shorten your arrow to 27 in you can find more arrows that spine well. Easton C2 Epic 340 381 gr 273 fps CX CX Hunter 300 376 gr 275 fps Carbon Tech Panther Middlecut 373 gr 276 fps |
