Correct Spine
 

Do I have the correct spine?

CX Hunter Maxima 250, 28" from shaft end to shaft end (not including nock)
Blazer Vanes (3)
100 gr BH's
Hoyt Powertec 60# DW, 26.5' DL
String Loop & Release (If that makes a difference)

I know I just had a similar thread, but i didn't know if I left out any info or not!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Rick,
You've added some more information since your previous inquiry which helps. Your arrow would be approx. 28.25 long going by standard measurement.

The arrows arestiff by a slim amount for a 100 gr tip. (.4333 for set-up to .417 for arrow) However,they should still workfine. Being a little stiff or weak sometimes will not hurt depending on how the bow tunes.

If you wanted to you could increase the drawweight by3 lbs, if possible, and you'd be pretty much right on the money.

I am checking it dead perfect but that is without a loaded string and a WB.I am sure you are loosing a few fps but you are still WELL within what I would call perfect spine for a hunting setup.

If that's the case. Ineed to figure out whyI keep getting overspine results. My numbers aren't that overspined. What value did you get for spine?

I enter in all the information that I'm given and hit the button. no manipulation to the program at all.

I see so often the word "perfect" used with archery. With all the variables in an archery setup, I've found it almostimpossibleto get and keep things"perfect". I tell my customers to always check their equipment because in archery things are in 'constant change.'

Couple this with the facts of limb deflection variances, cam variances, manufacturing tolerances, string stretch, serving separation/movement,etc., and you've got a plethora of problematic conditions.

Just a thought.;)

How 'bout perfectly fine?That's what i strive for--something that works pretty consistently and doesn't cause me any problems is perfectly fine.
