Bitz user's manual

Could any of you please supply me with a copy of the Bitzenburger user's manual if you have a copy to email? I just purchased a used one with no literature and I'm trying to figure this thing out.

Where should the arrow be resting on the front when I set the jig? etc.

Thanks.

I think I have it figured out guys. Here's my first 2 arrows with onestringer wraps and offset. The only question I have now is how do you figure out how much offset you actually have?

Nobody out there with a Bitz can provide info? I contacted Bitz and they do not have a single PC on site and have to FAX me the info.

They don't havea single PC on site??!! Good lord Bitz folks, live in the now!! Besides that, I'm interested in seeing you get an operators manual for the Bitz. I would like to get my hands on one as well!

RE: Bitz user's manual

I thought the guy was actually kidding with me when he said it. So, I said, "You're kidding right?" He said no he wasn't. I really do not know how a company can function today withouta PC for record keeping. Whoever does theier paperwork is one busy person. And imagine their filing system.

Monday I'll scan it when I get to work (If they actuallyfaxed it to me Friday)and send you a copy if you'd like bow_hunter44? The email function here will not allow you to send files. So, I'll need your email address if you want to PM it to me.

Even if you get the manual, it really doesn't help much. The marks on a bitz really don't help me much.

I have a copy but no scanner.

To get a good helical, you really need to just play around.

That's the general idea I've got from doing a few arrows. Doesn't hurt to have literature though. I'm trying to figure out how people say they have a certain degree of offset.

The arrows I've done spin more and fly well with an agressive offset and a closer to straight offset.

i heard that the Manual for the Bitz jig is like 700 pages long...its more complicated than the Manual that tells you how to clone Midgets.

RE: Bitz user's manual

That's going to be one heck of a big FAX then. I've only tried to find the one for clone super models. Never thought about midgets

RE: Bitz user's manual

Well, if it's a large manual, they didn't include it with the jig I bought a week ago. The only instructionsmine came with was a two page (8 1/2 x 11) pamphlet.

I'd bet that is what will be faxed.

RE: Bitz user's manual

the printout i got for my bitz(when i boughtit)was just a 8x11 sheet of paper with arrows pointing to each of theknobs onthe jig that are adjustableand it basically just said what they adjust(getting the quill to layflat when using an offset)how to adjust the screws properly for the 120x3, 90x4, 75x105 fletch index...JUst tinker with it!!! you dont need no instruction manual!!!!...Hellen Keller could figure out how to use the thing even after half a gallon of Beefeater vodka.

RE: Bitz user's manual

I've been fletching arrows without it. I was just interested in maintenance and such. Theliterature is pretty worthless though.
