Tight Nocks

I read that arrow nocks should hold suspended on your string, but fall off from a light finger tap inches away. I tested this, and found my arrows are pretty grabby on the string even after an aggressive tap. My accuracy and speed is fine, so is this ok?

I wouldnt worry about it as long as your happy and consitant. I know Id rather have them a tad too tight compared to falling off the string.

I have that same problem, and wonder if it makes any sound difference, as opossed to a loose one?

IMO, that test is something that is better left to fingers shooters than release shooters. Fingers shooters have more control over the arrow nock than release shooters. I think release shooters need their nocks to fit a bit more snug than that. You certainly don't want to have them too tight, but youdon't want the nocks falling off the string during the draw either. A light snap that won't let the arrow fall off with a finger tap but doesn't give more than a hint of resistance when you pull the nock off the string, that's about how I describe what I go for for release shooting.
