fletching jig for Blazers

What jig do you use for Blazers? I'm going to start doing my own fletching and don't want to waste money on a jog that will not work.

Any of the jigs work. JoJan, Blizenburger, Arizona EZ, just pick your price range.

So, you do not need one specifically made for Blazers? I didn't think so but have seen some that say for Blazers.

Thank you for the clarification.

I just saw that myself pk. Comes in a carry case.

The only draw back would be if you wanted to fletch other types of vanes for yourself or even friends. I'm probably going to go with a standard jig that allows multiple vane usage.

I'd go with any of the jigs out there, they'll all do a pretty good job with Blazers. However, get one that you can use with any type vane (gives you more options).

I eyed up the Arizona EZ, Blizenburger and theBohning setup that comes in that black box all at Bass Pro Shops this weekend.

Somehow I talked myself out of the purchase of the EZ while I walkedbetween the archery section and the register. STUPID STUPID STUPID!

Now I am at work on a Sunday when I could be fletching my own arrows! OH THE HUMANITY!

Josh,

What were you thinking?

Have they started restocking their archery products yet? Last time I was over there they were out of just about everything except for the Blitzburger.

They had em all Dave. All BH's, stabilizers, fletching tools, arrows, etc were in.

The only thing they were lacking in was rests.

I got to watch a guy climb half way up on the rock wall before one of the members of the crowd yell, "Hey, that guy isn't hooked up to the climbing rope!" LOL

The staff went NUTS!

Sorry early in. Either way the Bitzenburgers are expensive compared to the rest.

Your post has something intersting thaat is similar to my bow I found interesting. The max draw weight is 4 lbs over max. My new Ally is 5 lbs. I wonder how they end up that far over? With the technology they have today you would think that 1lb over would be typical. Not 4+.

I thought the samething but I've since learned it's fairly common to beover peak weight by several lbs.

Don't waste your time or money with the Bohning Blazer jig. What a piece of garbage. I bought one and no matter how I adjusted it I couldn't get the back end of the blazer to make contact with the shaft. The clamp isn't magnetic and has no indexing marks. I sent it back and ordered the Bohning Tower Jig. That jig on the other hand works awesome!

The Blizenburger does a wonderful job on Blazers or any other vanes and your grandkids will still be using it long after you're gone.
