learning the hard way
ive had the same bow for 13 years it sat for about ten years after my first season. ive done alot of shooting with it in the past 3 years. figured i should bring it in and have a pro take a look at it to make sure its still working the way it should. he said every thing looked fine string and all. well i bought a peep sight for it 3 days ago. i put it on myself had to redo it acouple of times before i got it lined up correctly. took it out to shoot it this morning drew back the first arrow and the peep was turned completly side ways. after taking a closer look at the string where my nock sits i noticed it was more oval than round so when i nocked my arrow the string would twist. huge problem for a peep. morale of the storie dont be to cheap if something looks a little off get it fixed before you end up wasting time doing things that wont help you. my new string should be on tommorow. should be help full

RE: learning the hard way
I used an old Indian Warhawk two years ago. I can definately say you should go shoot some new bows, things have changed alot! But dont go shoot them if you dont plan on buying one ;)
