Wow... All I could suggest for a broadhead at that speed, would be Slick Tricks. Those little buggers fly dead on in any conditions no matter what bow or what speed.

The biggest response most people on here say is too tune your bow properly and any good broadhead will work. I started asking about mechanicals and the guys all told me to make sure everything is tuned and stick with my Muzzy's.

sonic broadheads, and wasp boss bullets work great for that speed. I had an allegiance and had it set up to shoot flat out to 37 yards with one pin with the wasp heads.

I'm shooting my Ally at 305 fps. I have Muzzy 100gr 3 blade and RM Snypers both hitting perfectly with my field points. It's not about the broadheads it's about having a well tuned bow with matched arrows. I'm doing this with ACC's fletched with offset Blazers. I've done the same with a Trykon shooting 291....

Mechanicals you wont have to worry about goign off target as much. When i shoot broad heads i just take off my field points and screw on my spitfires and hits the exact same.

Its true, as long as your bow is tuned you will get good arrow flight with any broadhead. But the new shorter furrell type broadheads are more forgiving when it comes to flaws in form, bow torgue, and things like that. I suggested the sonic heads and the boss bullets by wasp because they tend to be more forgiving. You can torque your grip just a bit and wont get a cork screw like you would say with a muzzy.

Ok, to answer your question specifically.......Here's my set up, and it weighs in at 368 grains....

Maxima 3D Select 250, wrapped and blazers. 100 gr. point....I'm a big fan of big cutting diameter, and Rocket Hammerheads fit that bill very well. Rage are also an awesome head.....

If you want a fixed blade head, Magnus Stingers are hard to beat. They fly PERFECTLY, even at blistering speeds. Also, they have a lifetime warranty.

Oh, and Rob? What's up w/ the Ally buddy?? 305??? Shoot, I'm gettin 310.....Out of that junk old Hoyt....:D:D:D

I take it the offset fletching helps rotate the arrow more and stabilize better? Rob, what's your rig set-up? You can PM it to me if you'd like.
