Where is JeffB?
Haven't seen any posts from him lately! Come out come out where ever you are. Oh, will the new '03 1/2 inch Infinity cam modules fit on the '02 cams? I just checked my Pat's draw length with the 29 inch module and without the grip it measures 29 3/8 inches AMO. I need another 1/2 inch for summer shooting. Anyone know? Russ.

I can't answer for where JeffB is but I miss his smiling face on the boards... Always good for a laugh and I enjoy his technical knowledge of bow and arrow mechanics...
The 2002 and 2003 cams are different. The mods from the 2001-2002 Infinity cam won't work on the 2003 cam. They will be marked with an I before the module number i.e. I 1, I 1.5, I 2, I 2.5 etc., etc. through module number I 6. I don't think we've heard a peep out of Jeff since the big spat with Pinwheel 12 over the Bowtech posts. It's a shame, since I learned a lot from each of them. I probably shouldn't say this before I know for sure but I'm gonna say you can probably upgrade the bow with a 2003 cam. Just so you know though, BowTech doesn't sell cams outright.
If the 2003 cam will work (and I don't see why they wouldn't) the owner would have to pay XXXX dollars for the new cam and return their old cam in an exchange. They will only make these transactions through Authorized BowTech Dealers. I'm guessing the string and cable lengths would be the same for each cam... |

Jeff still regularly visits the forums though he doesn't quite post as much. I do know that both work and family concerns are taking up quite a bit of his time right now.
I, too, am looking forward to seeing some of Bowtech's 2003 lineup. |

I emailed Jeff about something and happened to mention this thread to him. He asked that I copy and paste the following response to this forum as he has been unable to....

Thanx for posting that Frank…I’ve been having Web Access problems at work…
Winger: Yeah..y’know I didn’t think he would try and run me off the road like that..After I dropped off the prostitute and threw the crackpipe out the window, I didn’t really see what the big deal was! Yeesh… LOL..actually I was going down the road in a 40 MPH area, 2 lane road..one each way…when I rounded a fairly blind corner BAMMM there he was on my side..he was passing someone in his lane on the corner doing about 70 or so..…I swerved down into a ditch..almost rolled my Durango..smacked my head pretty good against the steering wheel..among other things.. Son of a Gun never even stopped..just kept on going…Scary time..And I hate to sound corny..but that life flashing before your eyes thing? It’s true..at least for me…….I can’t explain it, but I had about a million images go through my head in a matter of seconds....my folks, my friends, my brother and sister… my son and Kim…old holidays…all kinds of things …it was REALLY weird… RB: LOL…Stair Navigation…maybe I should head over to the Community College and see if they offer that course… I don’t know what happened there…I was carrying a bunch of stuff, and just lost my balance..I overcompensated and ended up throwing myself over the stairs sideways about halfway down….got a minor concussion out of that one as well as some pretty brutal bruises and aches… At any rate folks,..As I said..I’m just slammed at work, and spending more time with my family…I still check the boards about once a week or so…but it might be better to email me at home if you have a specific question…(email should be in my profile) Happy (& safe!) I'm pretty sure even the mod screw holes were moved and the old one won't line up, but I'm not certain about that yet. |

I am glad to hear you are ok. I hope the next time I hear from you you are telling me that you won your lawsuit with that police department and you no longer have to work. Seriously, you should sue their @$$ off. You owe it to the people of your community(we all do). That guy could have killed you, what if you had a small child in the car with you. What if your reflexes weren't so quick. Please do the right thing and sue them for an astronomical amount of money! It may save someone else from this idiot! Protect your hunting rights, "Spay or neuter a liberal." |
