Home made feeder

I would like to build a feeder that opens in the morning and closes just before dark to force the deer to feed during daylight hours. I can build the box to hold the feed and a door hooked up to a motor that will open and close. What I need is a timer that will work with my 12Volt motor. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Order a replacement timer or just the timer from a manufactured one

I would love to see it also

WHY DO YOU NEED A FEEDER? JUST HUNT THERE NATURAL FOOD SORCE

RE: Home made feeder

My only concern is that the motor must turn one way to open and reverse to close. I'm not sure if I can find a timer that will do that. As for hunting their natural food source, the area I hunt is completely surrounded by private land. All the land owners feed the deer. Without feeders, the deer don't even cross the property. I believe in fair chase, that's why I only Bow hunt but If I can't see them, I'll never shoot one.
