Throw a little car polish on it....

...and early enough so that the smell dissipates. ;)

Well, aluminum won't rust so you must be talking about the bolts or cap screws that hold things together. Frankly I don't worry about them too much. Short of coating them with clear laquer or something they are going to rust if they get wet. It doesn't hurt anything.

If it's a target bow and you want it pretty then stay out of the rain or tear the bow down after shooting in the rain and clean all the bolts up. If it's a hunting rig then, oh well.........

Sucks doesn't it. No reason for it.For thecost of the products they could use stainless steel. You can replace them yourself.

Bow string wax when new can help keep things from rusting.

If your going to do this your gonna have to remove all the rust before you paint and cover with wax. If you just paint over the rust it'll come back through the new paint. Make sure you get all the rust off and then cover with a protectant

For Pete's sake, just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get stainless bolts. Problem solved forever.

stainless helps but will still rust. its all about maintainance. get that bow out of the case and dry it off a.s.a.p.. also i like to coat with synthetic no smell type oils but some brands will react with plastics especially when it gets cold. one time my qwikee quiver bracket just fell off in 15 degree weather right where the screws were oiled.
