A friend of mine bought a dozen and shot 3D with them last year. They shot very well for him. The downside is it didn't take much to splinter or break them, as in getting hit or another arrow glancing off of them in a target.

I tried them about 4 years ago and I sold a couple dozen to 2 other customers.
I didn't like them. They shot very well butI could really tell they were light becasuse I was always tightening my stabalizer and sight. The vibration and noise of the bow was very apparent. and it added alot of hand shock. At the time I was shooting a Mathews Ultra 2.
The other two customers have ordered more because they are into speed so much. It never caused a problem w/ their bows limbs but you can hear them shoot from a pretty good distance.

I had them weighed with the nock, vanes, shaft, and insert and they were 183gr (at 28½ inches). I had to go with a 125gr tip to get them above 300 gr and meet the "5gr per pound of draw" rule.

I set my bow to 62/63lb draw and was getting 295fps out of them. I got 275fps out of my hunting arrows (CE Maxima @ 368gr total).

The cool thing is when they are dead on at 20yds, they are only 2" low at 30yds and 6 or 7" low at 40yds.

I also ran the weight and speed thru a kinetic energy calculator on goldtip.com.

At 308gr moving at 295fps, the Carbon Revolution arrows deliver 59.53 ft lbs of kinetic energy.

My CE Maxima arrows, at 368gr moving at 275fps deliver 61.81 ft lbs of energy.

I was surprised that they were that close.....but when you think about it, why wouldn't they be close.

I do not see this arrow being very durable for hunting purposes though, but I will still try it come October.

These arrows will reduce the use of my rangefinder to some degree. I will range tree or some object out to 30yds and anything inside of that will be covered by my 20yd pin.
