Price is going to be the main determinant for suggestions. You mentioned two of the flagship bows from two of the most popular companies right now. With that thought in mind price probably isn't an object. However, it would still be nice to know regardless.

I make no attempt to hide the fact that I have been a Bowtech fan for several years now. The Guardian is reported to be everything they are advertised as. Fast, accurate, quiet and with little recoil or vibration at the shot. Throw in the customer service that Bowtech is known for and I do not know how you could ask for more from a bow or bow company.

If you are poised to spend that kind of money, then you have two of the bows that have generated the most talk this year for sure. You owe it to yourself to add some other Bowtech models, the Allegiance and Tribute, to your list, as well as the Switchback XT from Mathews. Don't forget about the Vectrix from Hoyt, or the Cardiac from Ross. Try them all, and you should know which one to pick.:)

The Hoyt Vectrix and the Mathews Drenalin seem to be THE rigs to own in my area. Both are exceptional rigs and the finest bows I've seen from both companies.

Go out to a few different shops, and shoot as many bows as you can get your hands on. See what feels best on the draw, the release, and which seems to fit YOU, personally, the best. I just went out and shot some top dollar bows this weekend, and one budget ($599) bow, and the cheaper bow actually felt the nicest of the bunch!!!! Just my opinion, but put as many in your hands as you can, and make a more "informed" decision. Good Luck in your search.

How do you like that bow? I have a Element and I really like it but I wanna get the Truth because it seems to have a quieter draw.
