RE: Hawglite opinions anyone??
Hi paka. I just recently made a new stabilizer out of a minimag flashlight. It was pretty easy. I got one of the lights that takes 3AA batteries. It has a LED bulb so it is really bright. Lights up well at 20yds and I think will do ok at 30. I drilled a hole in the end cap of the light and inserted a bolt that fit the stabilizer hole on the riser. I had to grind down the head of the bolt to get it to fit in the body of the flashlight but it was worth it. I got this idea from REV, Ausie and Kyle. I saw thier's the first time we met. They had some made out of mag lights with 2D cell batteries. I wanted something a bit smaller. If you want me to post pics let me know and I'll do it tonight after work.

Here is the Mag Lite that Greg copied:):D
I use the ordinary bulb as the led is not bright enough when you put a red lens in;) ![]() |

I don't use a red lens, I use amber. I have yet to test drive mine on hogs.
