RE: Tuning Methods to prepare for hunting season...

Straight Arrow is dead on , excelent advise , I shoot both fixed heads and mechanicals , have a farely high foc , with carbon arrows , useing 5 inch feathers . One piece of advise Id give is shoot ONLY broadheads a month or so before season starts, so you will "know where your arrow is going" . This is espcialy true for fixed blade shooters . Another peice of advise is , during the hunting season dont stop practiceing , sometimes with all the time in the woods we spend , we let our practice slip ,,,, stay up on your game , and keep your body in tune thoughout the season .
One more is to practice with the clothes you will wear while hunting , shooting my mavrick with a teeshirt is easy , put a thick winter coat on and that low brace heigth bow slaps the jacket , know before you go .
If you plan to hunt from a tree stand , practice from a tree stand
