What I saw in the store...

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this post.

I went in to a store about two weeks ago. This store carries Bowtech, Diamond and some other brands.

An employee was showing a couple about the bow(s) that they wanted to see. First he draw the bow then let go and handed off to the couple. Thenhe took out another and drew it. WHACK!!! and the bow dropped to the floor, tumbling. He picked up the bow and looks at it. No one was around (manager), so he put the bow back on the rack.

My point here is, he dry fire the bow and drop it. Shouldn't he be the one to buy that bow? They have a sign said whoever dry fire a bow better take that bow home.

I believe I saw him in there for a while. I usually stop by about once a week on the way home just to kill time. He looked sweating of course.

I don't know why I didn't say anything. I should have.

I bought my Equalizer in there last Dec. The manager told me that he'll order me a set ofmodules, but to this day I never did receive the modules. I wanted to go from 25" to 25.5". I just went in and told them to swap my 25" modules for the 26". I didn't really care anyway. There's no way I will let those guys touch my bow. :)

You know, I'd still seriously consider letting the store management know about this. Who know's how much damage he's doing to bows that folks are buying. I've heard some guys on here say that the limbs can crack if dry-fired. Looks like he could be endangering some people as well and needs to be stopped.

Little Chief is exactly right. He may do damage to a limb and it might break when some unlucky customer is drawing it. Not only that, the manufacturer may be footing the bill in warranty claims for this bozo's lack of concern and knowledge.
You need to tell the OWNER,not necessarily the manager.
