Fletching Alignment
 

In this day of Whisker Bisquits and fall away rests, how important is it that the arrow's fletching be oriented with the odd colored fletch facing away from the riser? I'm thinking of nocking an arrow without looking at it while keeping my eye on the deer . . . .

With a Whisker Biscuit the "odd colored fletch" should be up, as not to pass thru the black bristles. The three fletches should pass thru the brown bristles. Can't answer about others.And, I'm not trying to be a smart-a__ (fill in the blanks) so please don't take it that way, I've just got to ask, but why would you want to nock an arrow after you've seen a deer (assuming,however,you're hunting from a stand or blind)? Would you load a gun after you've spotted a deer?

I've had a couple of situations where I wanted to be able to knock an arrow by feel - after shot #1 went low :(- without taking my eyes off the animal. Just wondered if it really mattered if I got the nocking thing backwards.
