Stealth question for stealthman

Do you make any custom stabs that are rubber coated instead of the hard anodized aluminum outer shell? I would like to have one that will not make noise if accidentally bumped against my stand or any other equipment while in the field.

Thanks

Sorry,I do not build anything like that....I have had a couple of request`s for just that type of stabilizer.
You never know, maybe in the future if Stealth Archery keeps growing!

Thanks for the reply stealthman. For now I'll have to settle for an aluminum I guess. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I'll be on the lookout if/when you do ever get the chance to expand though!

If I were to wrap one of the aluminum stabs with some type of moleskin or padded tape similar to what is used around the arrow rest, would that have any bad effects on the functionality of the stab do you think?

Thanks again.

I know several guys that have done that exact same thing!
It will not effect the performance of the Stealth at all!

Great. Thanks for the help. I'll be placing an order for my stab once my new bow arrives.

Put in an order yesterday off the website for the 8&quot; Stealth. I hope it mates up nicely with my new Patriot on order.

Jerry, any idea when I can expect it?

Thanks for the order! You should get it the first of next week!
It should match up very well with the new Patriot as I hear that it has more of a nuetral balance than last years Patriot.

NYH: I've put moleskin on quite a few Stealth stabilizers as well as my own. It works great and does not affect the performance.

Instead of trying to cover the open end of the stabilizer with moleskin, I put a Sims Enhancer on the end. This gives you a soft rubber end in the event you hit something and also increases the shock resistance while not adding very much additional weight.

HotLZ, are you putting this on a DC Pat or on a Single Cam Pat. My DC Pat should be in around the first of the year and if you are getting the same, would be interested in some feedback. I have a Vibrachek Isolator on my SQ2 and it is a great stabilizer, just a little heavy though. Might switch for the new bow...Thanks in advance...

Len, I hadn't thought about using the sims on the end. That seems like it should work really well. I was wondering how I was going to cover the end in a way that would look decent and stay on well. I guess thats what I'll do.

Thanks
