Setting Sight Pins

I would like suggestions as to what range I should set a three pin sight?
At the presnt I'm figuring on 20,30,40,yds. I'm interested in how you guys have your sights set and whether you just use one pin, three, or more.
Thanks in advance for any replies to yet another newbie question. I actually did a search with no results pertaining to what I was looking for.

I think what you have is perfect. I personally shoot a single pin sliding sight that has 6 yardage markers, so I have marks in 10 yard increments from 20 - 70

I've got 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. The 60 yarder of course is only for 3D shooting.

I shoot 20 30 and 40 yrd. pins leaf. 40 yds is a long way out in the timber. Are you getting pretty good with your new bow?

I shoot a single pin pendulum, acurate as heck to 35 yds! Put the pin on him and shoot.

Thanks guys, thats what I wanted to know.
Motown, to answer your question . . .no, I'm not pretty good with it yet. I have enough confidence in my shooting to feel comfortable with a twenty yd shot but no more. I actually hav'nt had time to practice a whole lot and I hav'nt hunted with it yet. I'm hoping to practice some from a stand and then maybe catch the last few days of our hunting season. Thanks for asking.

I wish I had gotten in to this a long time ago . . .I really enjoy just shooting, adjusting and considering possible new accessories..
