Trying to learn bow tuning-need help please

I am new to the tuning business andjust have a couple quick questions.....When setting a nock point does one set this dead center between cam and idler wheel then adjust rest to center accordingly(shooting carbons). Also-do I need to worry about my d-loop moving. Should I set a know point inside it for good measure?? Help!!What is a good video or book that will help me with the new bows and equiptment. We shoot matthews if it matters??

I usually go off of the rest (depending on the type). The main thing to do is make sure everything is square and level. I also set a nock in-between my D-Loop to make sure it doesnt slip

I suggest this for people trying to learn bow tuning. See what happens when you have the arrow visably high nocked, and move down 1/8" at a time. Then do the same for the arrow rest windage.

Sometimes nocking point too low can give indications of "too high" when the arrow bounces off the rest.
