I have a question
Well June and July are not too far off so I have started getting some things ordered for BSA summer camp. They never have enough arrows so I order and then make them. Up till this order they come white painted wood shafts but the two boxes I got yesterday were not painted.
Can I coat these with some type oil based product (after I finish the arrow) to help keep them from warping? Every year I have some of the painted ones warp due to high temps and humidity. ALSO, The bows that they have are VERY simple things but every year I have a few young men that have a heck of a time aiming them. Somewhere I saw a sight that was made out of popsicle sticks but have not been able to find it again. Do any of you know how to do this or know of a link to somthing like it? Thanks, Rick |

 Is anybody really out there?

RE: I have a question
Don't have a link but you could try just rubber banding a popsicle stick to the bow at a certain level. Basic principle and should work. Can't help you on the arrows as I have no idea.
