Not worth a D...............

ollar! never mind $ 32.99 from Cabelas. got it, tried it and boxed it right back up. The magnet is a pain in the rear to adjust so that you get good fletching contact. I’m sticking with my E-Z Carbon Pro. just my two cents for what it's worth!

I tried a Grayling, and there was simply too much slop in the mechanism. I finally bit the bullet and bought a Bitzenburger. I think I'll pass it on to my grandkids... ;):)Seriously, do yourself a favor and just buy one. [8D]

No, none.....I use the Bitz at the shop I work at, and honestly it works just as well. I hear an aweful lot of "Bitzenburger this, and Bitzenburger that....." Yes, the Bitz is a great jig, no question.....I simply CANNOT see spending 70 bills when the grayling is less than half that and works equally as well.

I've used my Grayling for 3 years now, and fletched.......I couldn't even tell you how many arrows. Not one single issue have I had that wasn't my fault...Stupid mistake so to say.

Thanks all for your replies! I'm with GM on this one....sloppy and the clamp "fletching Edge", where the fletching sits was all uneven, had to use a little sand paper to get the vanes to sit flush on the clamp. Mine was just poorly put together I guess. Any way, thanks again!

I agree with mobo, I have been using a greyling for several years and haven't had any major issues with mine. The only thing I did have a minor issue with was the fact thats its a plastic and you have to becareful if you need to scrape any glue from the jig. Other than, it works well.

I'll probably eventually pick up a bitz just for the reason above.

I had one of those pieces of crap and it wouldn't work for me either. I tried it literally hundreds of times with many different glues and couldn't get it. I bought the Arizona EZ Fletch and love it. It works great for me.

that's my two cents

My dad has a Bitz.. and my brother has one of those EZ fletchers... we both usually just get together and either go to Dad's and use his or we steal it and do our houses. I love the damn thing, and he has owned his rig since I was in diapers... It is well worth the money!

Same here.I have to on occasion scrape the glue from the fin,and that's about it.I have been using mine for at least 5 years now.

RE: Not worth a D...............

I have ez fletch, I have the blitz. I am disappointed in the blitz. Once its setup, its fine. But if want to change all the time for different bows, its a pain. I shoot alot of traditional, and two compounds. I have different fletch setups on all 4. So I use the blitz for large feathers, and EZ for the carbon.

Have any of you guys tried the fletch tape? That stuff is great. I wont go back to glue.

RE: Not worth a D...............

I tried the fletch tape and watched what happened while hunting in 100 degree weather. The vanes started to curl off the shaft. I now use nothing but super glue gel.
