Bow Press Question

Im looking into getting a press, and found this one.

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21424-cat20080&id=0026244416302a&navCount=3& podId=0026244&parentId=cat20080&masterpath id=&navAction=push&catalogCode=QT&rid= &parentType=index&indexId=cat20080&has JS=true

The bow press you're thinking about is made by WWAG (Walks with a Gimp)--I think Gibblet only makes stings & cables, but I could be wrong.

I won't be building any presses this winter due to overtime at work and family.

I have the retchet lock bow press that you linked to. It's a good press and will do the job for you.

However, I wish that I had gotten one of WWAG's presses. The legs on his make a world of difference. It's about the same price and IMO worth waiting on.

RE: Bow Press Question

I built my own out of hard wood and hardware. It only works on bows of my size. The dimentions are already avalable. If your any good with wood you can make one for under 20 bucks. Mines beautiful.I use turn buckels to pull it down. If I did more pressing I would make it more user friendly. Works great for me. You got like 10 months to build one.:D
