Arrow wraps?
What do they do (PRO's & CON's)
|
RE: Arrow wraps?
They add a distinctive custom look to your arrows that many folks feel add more individual flavor to a hunters set-up. Another and very important use for a wrap is the fact that they could possibly allow you to ID the hit on your animal of tag=rget by allowing the shooter to follow the flight patch of the arrow. Also for me, by using White based wraps and fletching, it allows me to more easily ID the kind of blood I have on my arrows byproviding a much brighter background that a plain black carbon shaft. I love arrow wraps and look forward to using them with my rig every season.

RE: Arrow wraps?
How do you determine the size to use? (diameter and length)
|
RE: Arrow wraps?
I used Bohnings carbon wraps for Blazer's.

RE: Arrow wraps?
If you use aluminum arrows, get the 1 1/4" variety, and the 1" for carbon. They typically come in 2 lengths, 7" and 4"......but a lot of guys will cut them to any length you want.

RE: Arrow wraps?
Whats better, wraps or hand painted?
|
RE: Arrow wraps?
How do you guys feel about the added weight of wraps?
|
RE: Arrow wraps?
Hand painted looks 10 times cooler and it's a bit lighter. BUT, wraps are 200% quicker and simpler.
