For some reason I don't like the way the easton axis arch when you are out past 30 yards. They drop considerably lower over a GT or BlackHawk.
Is it because of the slim diameter? - I don't know but I also broke some in a layered target. I stopped shooting them.

The CE maxima are much lighter and they will fly higher but not that much greater than the others.

Easton arrows the only thing in the sport of archery that can be labled as best.
a lot more pricey than most other arrows but the highest quality arrow money can buy

IMO the #2 spot as far as high quality carbon shafts are concerned is Carbon Revolution
sad thing about these shafts not a lot of people know they even exist due to lack of a good advertisement campaign

any way, the axis shafts arewithout a doubtHigh Quality Shafts.

Hi again. I have heard some pretty decent things regarding the Easton Axis shafts, ditto for the Carbon Express. Where do the Carbon Express CX 300 shafts fall into the mix compared to the Maxima or Axis ST shaft?

I just bought a Tribute & the proshop owner, who also shoots a Tribute, recommended the Easton ST Axis.He recommended them basedon the slimmer designer & he hunts w/them himself.The slimmer profile has better penetration, flies faster, & is very strong due to a thick wall.I shot some indoors @ 20yds, they flew great. I'm hoping this week to get outside & shoot @ 30 & 40 yds.Let u know how they go. For the price, Iwould think they areon the high end of quality.

Im shootn axis shafts , they have been very good for me , consistant groups , and seem to hold their spine , I had a couple snap in animals , but so did the accs I used to shoot . I have found them much tougher than the beaman hunters that were kind of the standard for carbon arrows for a few years . I did not even consider shoot'n the beamans .
