The closest you can get them to the nock the better. I use the first marks on my jig....

Any of the cyanoacrylate glues (super glue) will work best. A couple of my favorites are Pine Ridge Fletching Glue and Bohning Quantum XT...

Never heard of the closest to the nock mobo. I fletch mine an inch from the nock just like any other fletch and they perform and fly great for me. I use bohning platinum glue and I always use arrow wraps too to customize the arrows and also to provide a great surface for the fletchings to adhere to. I use a bitzenberger fletcher.

I didn't necessarily mean right next to the nock...but it's better to be closer than farther...try fletching one 4" away and see how it works....[8D]

I agree Mobo
I usually put mine about 1/2" from the end but if you use a release there is no reason a person could not put it at the end of the shaft it would only make the arrow spin faster which is a good thing.

Mine are @ 9/16" from nock. I like to use Bohning Fletchtite Platinum.
