I'm looking to buy either the Allegiance or the Tribute #60 bow.I shot both and both are sweet bows hard decision to make. What are your thoughts?

The only real difference is the ata. The Allegiance is a bit faster, but not by a whole lot. I'd get the one that felt more comfortable to you. I opted for the Tribute (06)

I owned both at the same time, and invariably I walked out the door with the Allegiance. Just about everyone I know who have owned both has done the same.

I was leaning towards the Allegiance felt a little better in my hand and little extra speed never hurts.I really like the new handle they have on the 07

Me too... :)The grips are incredible this year!

I'm keeping my '06 Ally because it's one of the best bows, if not THE best, I've ever owned. I'm anxiously awaiting this year's model to see how less mass weight affects its characteristics. If it's still just as sweet a shooter as it was last year -- and almost half a pound lighter, with the same speed... Wow!

BChunter, if you are leaning towards the Allegiance then that is the bow to buy.

I would just like to point out that in some cases (mine) the smaller ATA is why one would choose the Trib over the Allegiance. I know most will say there isn't much difference and by a measuring stick there is not. BUT while hunting in my pop up ground blind (trophy den)the other day at full draw my upper limbwouldbarely grace the roofif i wasn't careful while aiming. If I backed up any my drawing elbow would rub the material behind me.

I know this is only one case and I should buy larger ground blinds[8D](I'm learning) . But it became a factor I figured out mid hunt. Formyself smaller is betterwhen I'm only shooting ~30 yards from a ground blind.

Well yesterday I made alot of calls and I found one pro shop about 20 miles from my house that had a oneAllegience. I couldn't get there fast enough.I bought the bow,had a string loop, hha sight and a wb on it.What a sweet shooting bow smooth fast and no hand shock and whisper quitewhat else could you ask for. This is my first Bowtech shot a Trykon last year I really liked the bow I just didn't like the draw cycle (to harsh) anyway all I can say is that I'm very happy with this bow. It took me about8 to 10 shots through paper to get it shooting bullet holes.I love this bow

I took the 07 Tribute. Less shock or handle vibration, larger brace height, holds better, nuff said.
