Bow redipped?

Just wondering. I plan on keeping my hunting bow a few more years, just fits me that well and I am that happy with it. I have an itch or a thought to get it dipped in Predator Deception camo. A company in the same area code does it. Anyone ever have their bow redipped or repainted and how did it turn out?

I've seen the comments from the guy who owned the bow you've got pictured there; he was ecstatic with the finish and how it turned out.

I haven't had it done with any of mine yet.. I'm still trying to quarterback a deal between Bowtech and Predator that may save me from having to in the future... :D

I've got to be honest, that looks beautiful and a nice change of pace. One of my concerns with my Bowtech Allegiance is the shiny cams. My friend Kurt one day said my cams looked liked mirrors from his angle....NOT GOOD. I'm thinking of having my cams dipped.

Hey Matt, we need to talk.

Rob,you might be better off just getting them anodized.

To be honest, from the pictures atleast, the cams on the bowtechs seem fine but a picture isn't showing them in all light conditions.

How much would something like that cost?

24/7, I plan on calling them Monday to find out. In my case if I get this done I might as well do it when I put on a new set of cables/string since the bow will be taken apart by me before being shipped off.

There are several different places doing it right now, but I know of one who's doing the riser and limbs for $135. You can get the riser, limbs, cams, limb pockets, quiver and stabilizer all dipped for $200...

Rob, to just dip the cams would be $35.

Prices may vary among other companies offering the dipping.

I know we can't have every option but I wish the Predator camo option was available when buying a new bow. I think it would go over well.

yeah, TFOX, I didn't even think about the cams, I asked a friend of mine how my camo looked from his perspective, he said it looked good. The sun was in my face and my bow was hanging, he said it looked like two mirrors swaying in the sun....I don't like that....most instances it won't be an issue but in that stand, one of my favorites...it's not a good thing.
