I shot the Vectrix and XT as well, and I would go with the Vectrix if it were up to me. Good point about the heavier bows though and soaking up more vibration. Elite bows vibrate like a tuning fork (the one I shot) but they are also extremely light weight.

Most of the guys at the shop I go to still think the XT will outsell the Drenalin.

Just bought a new 07 Vectrix XL. Upgraded from an 07 Bear Truth. I found this posting thread while doing some research online. I love the new bow. Definately has low hand shock and good speed. However, It makes a prounounced "twang" when fired, like a string buzz/slap. I took it to the pro-shop where I bought the bow, but they told me the sound was normal. Another shop told me the same thing. I just dont beleive it. The bow, which is supposed to be one of the quietest on the market is louder than my Bear.

I have string silencers on the stings and cables, but they didn't make much difference. I also adjusted the string supressor in and out, but cant make a difference there either.

Looking for some advice from a few

how about some bear bows? i kinda like em cause there in my price range, and would like to see how they stack up to the higher priced range bows

Grandviewer I would have to agree with PA the Matthews does come with vibration stuff and to be honest the lower cost fo the Hoyt is what got me on mine. I shot both and couldn't justify the extra money for the Matthews. I am not saying my Hoyt Vulcan is better but I am saying it was betterfor me for the price and quality.
