FRED BEAR ELEMENT

What do you experienced archers think of this bow? I'm seriously considering one. I've been shooting an old high country vibraflex for a few months now but it's time to return it to it's owner. The high country i've been shooting is set@ 58pounds but I'd like to move up to the60-70lbmodel. The value of the elementlooks pretty impresive, I can own one for $349 set up. Here are the specs, let me know what you think. http://www.fredbearoutdoors.com/products/detail.tpl?Id=41

Fred bear has been around the block for a while! Great bows, I just am not in favor for the plastic limbs pockets!

I shoot the Element and love it. My buddy was trying out alot of new bows and didn't like the Vibration in some of the NEW Expensive brand bows. I let him shoot my Element and he bought one without any more questions. You can't beat this bow for the price, I also use mine in competition and other than the plastic limb pockets it is as nice and alot quieter than most more expensive bows. Hope this helps....

I was fairly impressed with the Element. The local shop sold several of them this past summer. For the price I think they offer good performance. I wasn't big on the limb pocket material though.

In regaurds to the plastic limb pockets, is it something new or has it been around for a while? What is the purpose(or is it hust cheaper to produce)?
