RE: grayling jig how to?
i dont own a shop or work at one but i do refletch arrows for friends at no cost except for material and i hate it when i have to remove vanes and cement...i've converted a few guys to feathers but most still shoot vanes...i like the "twist" i can put on a feather and i geta morconsistant flightout of my broadheads (more than with vanes with minor offset)...

RE: grayling jig how to?
You can put that same "twist" (helical) on vanes as well. (course, you prolly knew that..) Feathers do look a lot cooler though, that's for sure.

RE: grayling jig how to?
yea...but i use a biscuit and it likes feathers a lil better than vanes. also i like to splice diff colors together for fun
[8D] two beers and a shot of whiskey is what i ask for after a hard day...takes the edge right off;)if i had a real bad day i get a double shot of Johnnie Walker Black on the rocks instead of the single....i dont do it very often tho so dont be turning me in to AA....;) |
RE: grayling jig how to?
Ahhhh yes. The biscuit do indeed like feathers better, unless those vanes are Blazers.....;)
