What about the Genesis by Matthew?? No specific draw length and they can grow into it ,plus bigger people can also shoot it. I wanted to get my son one untill he shot a tree between us at 10 yards.(w/broadhead)[:@]Itll have to wait now.

I would always recommend a recurve for a youngster, but if it's just GOT to have wheels, I'd also say the Genesis. It will grow with her the same way a recurve will.
Please though (and I direct this at all parents, not just you) don't make the poor little lass shoot your old, overspined hand-me-down arrows. Set her up correctly with her own arrows. |

The genesis is a good bow. It is the bow NASP uses, which may already be, or soon will be in your school district. They are growing very quickly.
You may want to have her try one, as the draw weight can be a little tough for the young girls. They have no let-off. I use them to instruct Girl Scouts, and the girls love them. But, the smaller ones do have problems pulling them back. My daughter is also 7, and has been shooting with me since she was 4. She has a very light, easy to pull, PSE recurve. As I know she is interested and wants to get more involved, I will be purchasing a Hoyt Trykon Jr for her, in pink of course. :D PM me and I may have a deal for you...;) jmac |

I agree with going trad at that age also. Kustom King has some very reasonable prices kids bows. Easton Jazz arrows are also recommended.

i want to get her a bow with let-off so she has more time to aim and because its not as physically demanding since shes a girl.

Really now, who would have thought that this stunning actress was an archer in disguise. On the set of her TV show she insists on shooting her bow in-between takes! I must say that I was pretty surprised to find all this out, and so she certainly deserves a spot among the famous archers. |

My frends 5 year old daughter shoots one of these. They are a very high quality bow at a reasonable price. I'm not saying the Genesis isn't a good bow but the Stacey is way nicer than the Genesis. |
