Had a Hoyt Trykon XL, really nice bow, but a bit on the heavy side. Got a chance to shoot a Guardian about 3 weeks ago and left the shop with a new one. I shoot at home in the evenings and on weekends. It's smoother, no hand shock, and quieter than the Trykon was. Points and shoots great. Got my first "Robbin Hood" with this bow last night at 25 yds. By the end of April, I'll have another for backup or whatever. ( can't have just one gun can you! )

I haven't shot much in the last few years. For those of you that have shot a BT Liberty, how would the Guardian compare as far as smoothness, vibration andhand shock. Obviously, The Guardian is much faster.

The Guardian has a stiffer draw force curve that stores more energy than the Liberty and it's proportionally faster as a result. The Guardian is quieter than the Liberty

Picked mine up today... Haven't had much chance to shoot her. I had to shoot league and I used my Vectrix for that. I didn't have any time left to dial in the Guardian yet.

I started looking for a new bow at the first of this year. I went out and shot almost every new bow this year. The Guardian was the BEST shooting bow of them all. The bow is so quiet and smooth and vibration free you think it is shooting slower than all the others. In reality its blowing past them...I love it.

I have to agree with southbound m. I have a 2007 Allegiance and was about to purchase a Constitution and decided after watching and shooting a Guardian that I would have to switch my order. Compared to my Alligiance the Guardian is far smoother, less to no vibrationand quieter...in fact I don't think you could ask for any more....I'm totally satisfied with mine.
