I just made 4 of these. they work great. I don't drill the hole or put the stopper on the end. I just glue the light right in the nock. I turn them on when I'm ready to shoot, and turn them off afterwards. Work perfect. The red ones are much brighter than the green ones. I haven't tried the yellow yet.

great post! i just made one tonight for about $3 i bought the rod n bobbs beacon yellow light and put it in the orange flourescent nock i already had. took me about 15 min cuz i wanted to be sure everything was dry. i havent tried it out yet, but it seems to work fine, thanks again, these should be helpful and at 1/3 the price, if it works, im gonna make another one tomorrow.
