I quit.Just kiddin around[8D]

Looks like the Pro has a 2" longer riser than the Protec had last year. The Ultra and the Pro utilize the same riser(HEY ARTHUR,DEFLEX) (this might help them keep up on production) but the Pro has the XT2000 limbs where the Ultra has the Xt1000 limbs. The Pro has the new c2 cam and the Ultra has the vector cam.

The manual shows that you can get either in the cam and 1/2 also, but it slows the ultra 10 fps and the pro 5 fps. But it gives a little bit more fexability. I had to go back to the shop tonight to talk things over with the guys. It is always more like group therapy. I did get my order solidified tonight and everything is a go. I broke out the pro-elite and shot some vegas targets while I was there. It sure felt good...............

One cool thing about the c2 is that the letoff is adjustable, and that helps us Idahoans a bit because we still have the 65% letoff rule in effect. Now our bows that have the c2 do not have to be special ordered in the 65% letoff. We can just change the setting in the shop and put 2 twists in the buss cable and we are good to go. It should help in getting bows quicker to customers, and will make things easier for fish and game when they check our equipment because it is clearly stamped for them to see.

Here is a copy that I scanned from the manual of the two bows that we are talking about. The riser is almost a cross of the older and newer design.

Anything new in the way of a "speed" hunting rig?

The vectrix and the vectrix xl are 316 and 315. The vulcan seems to be the quickest with and IBO of 325. The axle to axle is 33 inches on the vulcan, with a brace height of 6 inches. The cool thing about these bows is the sts type system on it, makes it seem like a longer brace height bow. I am not a short brace height guy, but this bow shot rather well.....

Did you get a chance to drw the new vector cam? The vectrix and vectrix XL look good to me. Her's a pic I stole from another site...

yep!! I had a chance to shoot them all. I even ended an early scouting trip for late season deer so I could go shoot them. All I was finding this a.m. was a bunch of elk anyway. I think this will be a great year for Hoyt.

I wonder if Fuse will change the color of their accessories to meet the color change associated with the new Hoyt lineup?

From copper accents to black. I liked the copper but the black looks pretty good as well.

Boy, I was seriously considering straying away from Hoyt in '07 and looking elsewhere. But the Vectrix is calling my name. My backup bow might quickly become my primary bow.

SWEET. Gotta at least shoot one. Don't think there is anyway I could be able to get one this year though. I still love my Trykon so I better stick with it for a while.
