best bowstring
 

I am changing my limbs on my Mathews LX. What is your opinion on the best string to put on it?

There is a string maker on this site called Gibblet, does a very quality job, and I think you will find that as the general opinion here, Ive bought 2 sets from him and got another on order..

I agree. I've got a Gibblet string on my bow as does my brother in law. I'll soon order one for my wifes bow. She wants it to be pink. I'll have to ask if thats a color he has.

pink...nice...that is what my wife would have to have if she shot a bow (which I am going to try to get her to start doing).

I also got a gibblet string and cable before season start. Can't beat that.

Sure the pink stringsare for your wife. Not my color of choice, but i'm sure it looks good on you though.:D:D;)
I'm ordering a set from him tonight. I hear his stings are as good as any out there.

Gibblet shmibblet, I'd rather have a set of Bucknasty strings from that guy on archerytalk.
Bucknasty strings kill them quicker[8D].

But if he's booked up I guess a set of Gibblet strings would work too.....

Your right, a very nice guy but never gotmy order right and it did take him too long to make it partially right. A week after contacting him about the error I sent the strings back that were wrong. He got them even before making mine right.To compound the issue he had my original strings to copy from. I'm sure I'm an isolated incident, but here I am.He was very helpful. I do wish things would have turned out better.

My vote is for Gibblet. Just as nice a guy and has never got my order wrong. Just wish I had more reasons to buy from him. They are quality strings.

You dont have to buy from him, he takes donations

That they are I have been in this game a long time and all kidding aside gibblets strings are IMHO the best out there and at a very affordable price he could charge a lot more for them and get it.
