Crossfire tuning issues?

Just curious to know if anyone else has had issues with tuning their NAP Crossfires and getting them to hold consistant groups at 30+ yards? I know of a few people who have had problems recently and switched to Nitrons and say they love them.

I had a little bit of trouble with mine last week and am just wondering if I need to keep plugging away at it, or possibly look into a different head?

For reference, I'm shooting an 05 Allegiance with 27" Easton A/C Super Slims and an NAP SmartRest dropaway. I just can't seem to get good groups once I hit the 30 yard mark and higher.

Have you tried other fletching? If so, same results?

They are pretty small, low profile heads, but don't they have a little "kicker" tab on the back of the blades? Maybe your fletching is trying to turn the head the opposite way from the way the kicker tabs are trying to spin the head. If I recall correctly, NAP seems to be focused on right helical or offset as the way to fletch, since it is better to keep broadheads like the Thunderhead (with its O rings) tightened. Not sure, just a thought.

I have a friend who just bought some of those broadheads this past weekend and he is claiming that they are flying "exactly like his target tips..." He is shooting a Mathew Switchback XT.
