Luiminocks Question

I know luminocks light up , Trigger, at the shot, and they have a "lite up life" , but how long do they last and how do they "turn off" after you fire them the first time. It would seem to be a waste if they couldnt be "turned off " somehow and they stayed lit until they "died". And what are everyone general impression of them. Are they just an expensive gimmick or is there a real world application making them a good investment?

RE: Luiminocks Question

the lumenocks have 2 prongs where it meets the shaft of the arrow when u shoot, the force of the shot presses the prongs to contact and turn the light on to turn it off u just back the nock out a little and it turns off i've shot one for bout a month every other day for practice and it still works so i cant give an exact answer for how long it last

stay safe and good luck

40 hours is the stated life. They work jus as stated above, you can turn them off when you want to. I think they are worth every penny.

RE: Luiminocks Question

I think there alright, dont really like the way they dont stay tight in the arrow. to easy for it to spin and mess up vane alignment

RE: Luiminocks Question

They are junk. They don't stay in place on the arrow and the vane alignment issues are just rediculous. The only reason for a product like this is to see your arrow during/after your shot.

Well.........

If you are having problems seeing your arrow during flight....GOOD! That means your bow is fast! Congratulations!

If you can't see your arrow on the target....change your fletchings.

If you are shooting at night...shame on you. Hunting season closed an hour ago!

RE: Luiminocks Question

I had two a couple years ago. One worked most of the time the other was hit or miss, so I stopped using them. Maybe they improver them by now.

RE: Luiminocks Question

I use green/white fletchings with a green/white arrow wrap, plus a green nock. Hard to see shooting in my back yard...but shows up like gold when shooting at a deer.
