RE: Whisker Biscuit Trimming
If I'm not mistaken, you can actually spread the biscuit open to a certain degree. This is just something I read , I've never tryed it.:)

RE: Whisker Biscuit Trimming
If I remember right 5shot did a fps test and it was about 6fps loss vs. a quicktune. Not much in my book, nor in that of a dead deer. Anyway, on my old style WB I put the arrow on the nock and pushed it forward then marked where each vane would hit the bristles. I then used one of those little scissors for trimming nose hair (not that I need one) and I trimmed about an 1/8 toa 1/4 inch from center in each of those locations.

RE: Whisker Biscuit Trimming
Here's another thought. It's a full contact rest. If you decress the contact unevenly it could effect it's flight.

RE: Whisker Biscuit Trimming
I have thought about that, and I am trying to be veryyyyy careful and do it evenly, but if I screw it up I did at least learn one thing..... not to try that again..LOL But seriously, It is working so far, and I have trimmed a fair amount. Little by little I will keep going until I don't see results, I ruin it, or I get scared , chicken out , and settle for what I've done. We'll see.

Good atitude. Bound to learn something. It's the way I looked at it too.

RE: Whisker Biscuit Trimming
im surprised they havent come out with a version that uses say 1/3 less bristles if only the brown whiskers. they would probably make a fortune because now everyone will want to try it.

RE: Whisker Biscuit Trimming
Maybe I could to this R&D work, then make my own and market it, then I could become rich !!!!! If I build it, will all of you promise to buy one or two????LOL
