BowTech VibraBlock

Has anyone tried the VibraBlock and compaired them to the Limb Savers? Can you slide them up or down on your limbs and get different results? Thanks<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've used them on my Black Knight 2 and they do a great job. Had limb savers on it and the vibrablocks are a big improvement. Kinda hard to put on, but worth it. I really haven't moved them around much, they seem to do the best job close to the limb fork.
Hope this helps.

Yes, you can slide them around on the limbs to change the effect they give. On a couple of my bows I run two pair. I put them right up by the limb fork and then I also put a pair down by the limb pockets...

I was wondering about those also, I have a BK II, is their a big differance between them & the Limb Savers?

But to be honest they are ugly!<img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle><font face='Tahoma'></font id='Tahoma'>

RE: BowTech VibraBlock

I’ve used both the Vibrablocks, and the BT string silencers

In my experience I have found them better, and found them worse than the Sims products…

HUH?

From a noise reduction standpoint I’ve found the Bowtech stuff works a bit better, simply for one reason: It seems to produce a lower pitched sound than the Sims products. With Sims products my G3.2 makes a “shnick” sound. With the BT products it’s just lower pitched “bump” sound. Not to mention they will not come off the bow like the Sims products

I do believe though that the Limbsavers do a bit better job of vibe/recoil reduction. I’m not sure the difference is that great in the end, but it is noticeable. However, wth arrows approaching 6 grains per LB plus, I don’t think the difference is worth worrying about.

So I like a set of Limbsavers, along with a pair of vibra-blocks near the limb pockets.

I still prefer the Leeches compared to the BT silencers from a “idiot proof” standpoint. If the BT silencers are placed on the string material itself (as opposed to the serving near the cam/idler or cams) they need to be tied in and seem to rob a couple more FPS than the leeches. The leeches are also easier to install.

However, you can order your Bowtech from the factory with the “hush kit” which includes 1 or 2 pairs of VB’s, the BT silencers and cable guard damper pre-installed. Perhaps Pat knows how much extra it is. So you don’t have to worry about installing them yourself or having your local shop do it.

I ordered my DC PAT with the hush-kit just so I could experiment some more with them this year.

I take it I can oder this stuff from the BT web page?

Does the cable guard dampner take fps, & does two sets of vibrablocks reduce fps? How, I thought only things added to the string did that? <img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

My 2002 Tomkat came with all the dampners on it. String, cable, and limbs.

HeHe, JeffB strolls into the local BowTech dealer... Hello may I help you? &quot;Says the knowledgeable pro shop owner&quot;. Why yes, JeffB proudly exclaims, I'd like to place a sizeable order for BowTech archery products. The shop owner says, &quot; We can do that&quot;. JeffB then lists several models and options and draw length modules as the shop owner's eyes start to twinkle brighter and brighter. Then it happens, icing on the cake, like hot fudge on the sundae. JeffB then special orders, direct from the great speed factory of modern archery, HUSH KITS custom installed by trained pros. No wonder they like you JeffB<img src=icon_smile_8ball.gif border=0 align=middle>.
