RE: Problem tuning bow- any suggestions?
AllenRead- Thanks a lot for your advice. I've heard very good things about Len, it's just that I live in Bel Air and don't know when I could run all the way to Baltimore to drop off and pick up the bow. One of these days I do want to see his shop, though.
Bols- You brought up a very interesting point. If I had been a little more perceptive, I would have noticed that. I wish I had thought of that last night!
I looked at my rest and I see that my launcher is currently in the middle position, so I have one more notch that I can take it to the right one notch. This should help me correct the problem.
Thanks to everybody who helped me out with this. I'll keep you posted on the solution.
Did you remember that on the Ripcord you can actually remove the launcher with the set screws and change them according to your setup? This might help to achieve center shot.
You can move the Horizontal/Vertical adjustment block but you can also remove the launcher arm and relocate it on theshaftaccordingly.

I had a similar problem with a ripcord rest on my legacy. The prongs on the ripcord rest are too long. You are getting fletching contact on the rest. Take a dremel cutoff tool and trip about 1/4" off the ripcord prongs. Took care of my issue right away. The prongs are not clearing the arrow flight path because of length. Use some baby powder on the rest and I think you will see the contact points. Other option is trading to a better rest like the trophy taker.

Len is open on Sundays year round. At least that has been his schedule for about a year. I have a longer drive than you since I live in Gaithersburg, but IMHO the quality of his work is worth the drive.
Good luck,
Allen

RE: Problem tuning bow- any suggestions?
Well, I took my bow back to the pro-shop this morning. Luckily, everybody must have been out hunting so the owner of the shop was able to spend the time necessary to getmy bowstraightened out.We paper tuned and then hit the range wherehe continued to adjust the rest and then the knocking point. Eventually, he was busting knocks at 20 yards and so was I.
If I miss a deer this year, Iguess I won't be able to blame my bow! [8D]
Thanks again for everybody's help.
