I am trying to figure my speed so that I can figure kinetic energy but I don't own a Chronograph.
What do you thing my arrow speed is with the following setup!
Matthews Switchback XT at 69 lbs
Carbon express maxima 350
draw is 28.5"
arrows are 27"WEIGHT 362 gr.
How fast is this? Seems very flat shooting!
THANKS

It's fast enough to get there.
I wouldn't worry too about kenetic energy. In the best testing I've seen (from Dr. Ashby), it isn't much of a factor in penetration potential on live animals. I'm sure your setup has more than enough energy to drop a deer or an elk, though I wouldn't dream of using for real big game. The real question is, can you hit what you're aiming at, with a broadhead attached while shooting with a brisk side wind?

Guessing from the Switchback setups I have seen, I would say the above estimate was very close. My guess is just a bit slower though....somewhere in the 265-270 range.
It doesn't matter how fast your arrow is going when it misses. Keep your weight/speed managable and hit where you aim!!!
Hope I'm Right....let me know if you ever find out for sure.
