Nock point question
 

I'm petting a drop away rest on my PSE Mojave an older bow. The arrow holder on the shelf of the rest is causing fletch contact. What are the ramifications of raising the nock point and the rest and the peep an equal amount to eliminate contact? I'll end up being about 1/4" higher than the string center. The platform on the riser is straight across, I've noticed newer bows are somewhat concave eliminating this problem. Any advice would be appreciated!

Andy, how is the arrow positioned according to your holes on your riser that support your rest, the Berger holes?

It'll probably end up about even with the top of the hole. I'd say it would be a1/4" high. But I'll adjust everything else to match.

I've done it. Didn't notice much of anything. Always seemed to nag me though.I don't use an arrow holder for that reason. Give it a try.

No, if you lay the arrow down backwards with the fork up you can see the fletch toyching.

Andy, sounds like without looking at the bow, you'll be alright, give her a whirl and see how she shoots. Won't be the first time we had to lift the rest, etc, to get some clearance...

Set it up and got it pretty well sighted in,will do some serious shooting tommorow,still the BH don't hit in the same spot as the FP but once I sight in the BH all seems consistent

BH consistancy is more important to me than hitting with my field points. That means that your broadheads are all matched and tuned. You can slightly tweak a rest to get the close if not the same however I usually just move the sights.

Once BH are sighted in Andy, here's what I do to keep shooting field points.

Let's say your BH are zero'd and now your field points are, let's say 2" high left.

Place a dot/marker 2" high left the same as what your aiming for. Aim for one and your arrows will hit the other, this way you know the bow is on and you can keep shooting without destroying broadheads or targets...
