axis nocks

any of you boys ever have problems with your nocks falling off... mine do it all the time and they are always loose. even if i buy new ones. it's the only problem i have w/ these arrows. i shoot 340's and my buddy shoots 400's with the same problem. i need a fix!!

Man, I don't know. My son's are so tight, it's tough to even spin them. If they are old, replace them. Otherwise, a dab of glue will do it.

Don't have that problem with my ST's. Check to see if your nock is to tight on your string or if there's any stress marks around your nock mount.

One of mine fell out and 1 started creeping out. Just put some glue on it and keep on shooting.

hey, thanks for nothing guys!!!
just kidding, i just don't know what the piss is going on? me and my buddy get our shafts from the same guy, maybe he is doing something to them like reaming them out some to make them easier to turn?

Its most likely your hoyt vibrating the nocks right off the arrow. Try a Mathews, might help your problem.

then i'd be shooting like 200 maybe 220 feet per second... it's a good idea, but i want to kill the animals that i aim at.

I know you want to kill them walt.....but you never will until you get the trigger panic taken care of. Oh....and you got to get up before 10am...that helps.

PMSchammel, you sure talk a lot of smack for someone who wounds deer on a regular basis...

Put apiece of plastic cling wrap around the nock to tighten the fit.

Good luck hunting! >>>------------>

Good idea on the celophane. I had the same problem with some Beman BLack Max. I bought a dozen new Xnocks and every one of the new nocks fit perfectly. I'd say its not a shaft problem, but whoever manufactured the nocks made a not so tight tolerant batch.

Just another reason I like aluminum/carbon arrows better.
