How many Sharpen broad heads?
 

Ive seen all the sharpens sold, and wondered who actually uses them. Id personally never take the risk, for a few bucks im going w/ a brand new razor sharp magnus than trying to sharpen one.

I sharpen my original magnus 2 blade heads , get them much sharper than factory . The stingers come razor sharp from the getgo , and are harder to get sharp , so I replace them after they make a trip thru and animal , or dirt[rarely]

No choice with the NAP Razorbacks. I use a set of Lanski stones on them and get them at least as sharp as new.

I resharpen head's almost every season ,I start with a wet dry paper in 800grit and then polish them off with 2000 grit ,it really does a great job .

It just take's a little time and patience .

I sharpen my muzzy's before every hunt, if for nothing else just a piece of mind knowing my broadheads are as sharpe as they can be.

I sharpen my muzzys as well. Last season, the same arrow and broadhead passed thru 2 deer and 1 turkey. I don't see the need in spending more money when I can sharpen.

I take the bleeder blades off of my Stingers and run the main blades across a diamond stone. Ouch. Scary.

I agree with that. Especially the stingers where they don't sharpen the tip. Sometimes I just use a file, sometimes I use a stone.

Can anyone tell me if there is a "best" stone for sharpening blades ? I shoot Muzzy 3 blades and would like to get into sharpening my own. Thanks for your imput / advice...

i can't believe that you can get the stinger sharper than they already are? what stone are you using???
